The Strengths Deployment Inventory is a simple fun tool I use to help people to build better relationships and to avoid or resolve conflict.It can be used by individuals, or by teams/departments who benefit from completing the programme and sharing the results to help them work better together.
It’s excellent for people who regularly need to build new relationships with, for example, new clients. It’s also a great tool in helping to determine the make up of a team for a new project or new client.
SDI is usually delivered in a workshop format but can be used as part of one to one coaching. Either way clients will explore principles, what they mean to the individual concerned, and how they can easily and immediately apply what they’ve learned to business and every day situations.
A workshop is available to use the ‘P.E.R.F.O.R.M’ process for assessing and improving team effectiveness. The workshop is useful for teams that will be working together on projects or that have collective responsibilities within a department/sector. It looks at:

The workshop can be run as a half day or full day event. The choice of duration should be based on considerations such as the size of the team concerned, the extent and complexity of the issues it is facing and the degree to which it is ineffective.

The aim of this workshop is to prepare reviewers for the appraisal and objective setting process to improve the quality of the review conversations and the business objectives set by themselves and their teams.
The workshop complements the coaching workshop. The subject matter is different and the techniques are different. The role of a reviewer, giving feedback and setting objectives, differs greatly from the role of a coach.
The aim of the workshop is to increase the skills of individuals in objective setting (personal development and business delivery objectives) and getting the most from their performance review.
